Comment if you'd like to be added. I just like to know who's reading my thoughts, that's all. Please don't add me without commenting, I won't add you back unless you've done so or I know who you are.

My profile has more info about me. I've been on LJ forever, I update way too much, I cycle through fandoms...it's all good. I don't bite. Okay, only when provoked. But I hear the hospital can take care of the bleeding.

Hey there! I'm going to be going to SVU in the fall and I was just adding it to my school list, and then looking through the people who also have it added. You seemed like one of the more interesting kiddos. Would you be interested in being on my flist? We have a lot of common interests, too. ♥

Of course! That's so exciting! Yay for new people!

Okay, so, I'm going to give you an EXCITING PREQUEL of what you will experience when you first get here. So. Here goes. The questions you will be asked incessantly for the first two weeks:

1. What's your name?
2. Where are you from?
3. What are you majoring in?
4. Where do you live? (Or in your case, where are you planning on living?)
5. What are your thoughts on the social and economic factors of Russia that influenced the Bolshevik Revolution and, subsequently, the role and influence of Russia in Europe prior to and during WWII?

...Actually, #5 won't be on that list, I'm just in a really dorky mood and my history textbook is eating my brain. Rawrrr. Fear my zombie history brain.

Oh, and my room-mate says "Hi!" Just so you know

Yay! Haaaa, [livejournal.com profile] denialofreality just asked me 4 and 6. I nearly died. XD

I live in Pennsylvania (north of Pittsburgh), I'm Sandy, I'm majoring in English (can't figure out if I want a minor in art or in creative writing) and YAY BOLSHEVIKS! Mwahaha.

"Hello!" to your roommate. This makes me so excited! What building do you live in? I'm hoping to be in main (it was my first choice). ♥

I did warn you. Haha gotta love it.

I live in Main, 4th floor. It's the greatest - once you go to 4th floor, you never leave. XD You probably will be in Main. Advice: bring a window fan. SERIOUSLY. It's horrible in the summer, and in the winter you can't turn the heaters off because they'll explode, so it's ridiculously hot all the time.

Just remember that it's a gorgeous building, but it is old, and therefore is a bit...quirky. But it costs more to live in the Mods, so you take what you can get. And it is gorgeous. I must brag about our view - we live in a round room to the far right of the building, and the view is amazing. Makes up for everything.

So that's why I saw so many window fans in the windows when I was walking about campus! I was like, what the world, I mean, it was snowing like crazy that day (you probably remember; it was Saturday) and very chilly indeed (at least outside; the cafteria was rather sweltering). I will definitely keep that in mind--nothing like advice from the horse's mouth...so to speak.

And I'm one of those unfortunate people who have the tendency to trade workability for prettiness. But then, you are an English nerd, so you probably understand that. ;)

You callin' me a horse? XD

The cafeteria is always hot. You get used to it. I honestly don't notice anymore. Actually a lot of places around here are always hot. Our room, for instance. :) But our fan gets it under control pretty well. It doesn't replace air conditioning, but we manage.

I guess anywhere you live is going to have problems, but there are good things too. I like living up here, but there are some people that can't handle it. I guess it all depends on how well you can deal with the bad stuff and how much you like the good stuff. :)

I forgot one! Ahhh! I can't believe it! EVERYONE asks this. *ahem* Dun dun duuuuuuuun...it is...

6. What made you decide to come to SVU?

Better have an answer ready. They WILL ask you. :)
